Honours were even at the end of the
local derby.
We started at a cracking pace and
took the lead after 8 minutes when Remi Whitelock turned in a Daniel
Williams corner.
Two minutes later, Craig Jones
latched on to a through ball and made it 2-0. We had several more
chances to increase the lead but failed to take them and paid the
price when Port Talbot reduced the arrears with a direct free kick
from 30 yards after 22 minutes.
We reached half time still leading
2-1 and the Town came out and put us under extreme pressure but they
failed to convert their chances. However they managed an equaliser
after 74 minutes when they converted a right wing corner.
Both sides had chances to win but probably a draw was a fair result
