PONTARDAWE 1-0 AFAN LIDO

This was a typical
end of season game with nothing riding on the result.
There were few chances in the game and it looked as if it would be a
goalless draw.
However four minutes from time we took a throw in thirty yards from
our goal and the referee ruled it a foul throw.
Pontardawe took the throw and from the resulting cross one of their
strikers who was unmarked on the edge of the area fired home the
only goal.
It was disappointing that the goal should come from an elementary
mistake and wrong footed us somewhat at the back for the decisive
moment of the game.
