On Tuesday night we entertained Garden Village. Six first team players were
on the field and we
managed to lose 3-1.
We conceded a goal from a first minute corner when several players could
have cleared it.
Almost on half time we conceded a second goal which almost came from comic
cuts when
Luke Harrington rolled the ball back to Steve Osborne in goal, he missed
his clearance kick
allowing a Village player to walk the ball into the net.
Early in the second half we conceded a third, again from a cross and
despite having the bulk of
possession we rarely looked like scoring.
We did pull one back with about 5 minutes remaining through Carl Evans but
it was too little too late.
