Lido sign Andrew Mumford from Llanelli (Jul

Afan Lido continue their squad strengthening with a major signing for the
new season by signing one of Llanelli's top midfielders.
Tonight after training Midfielder Andrew Mumford put pen to paper to sign up
for Afan Lido. The signature didn't come easy as several welsh premier
league clubs were also after his services, but he will be turning out
for Afan Lido next season.
Andrew who started his WPL career with Llanelli in the 1999/00 season before
moving to Port Talbot, he also had spells spells with Haverfordwest,
Aberystwyth, aqnd 2 more stints at Port Talbot. He has made 136+29 WPL
appearances and scored 28 goals.

Afan Lido have made two new signings for the new season, and one old boy
leaves for pastures new.
Corey Thomas has left the Lido and joins Welsh premier league Carmarthen
Town, we wish Corey all the best with his new club.
Back to the fold comes Dan Williams, Dan left to join Corus two seasons ago
and is a welcome returnee, we have made a new signing in 19 year old Neath
striker Robert Spendiff. Robert came through the Academy at Neath.

Tony Griffiths (Welsh League Fixture Secretary) presented Phil Robinson with
the Welsh Football League Long Service Special Award.
Special awards were made to the Ladies Section - Linda Robinson, Miriam
Osborne, Natalie Robinson, Alison Howells and Julie Robinson. Mentions were
also made for the other 2 ladies not in attendance: Sian Reynolds and Lorna
