On chances created a draw was probably a fair result for this match but the main talking point was the refusal of the referee to give us a clear cut penalty in the last minute. Liam McCreesh was clean through and had his ankles taken from him from behind but neither the referee nor the linesman (I won't call them assistant referees) saw fit to give what everyone else in the ground saw.
In the opening minute Dan Williams tested their keeper with a 20 yard free kick while they hit the post on three minutes.
Karl Lewis shot wide when well placed while Wyn made a couple of excellent saves to ensure a scoreless first half.
On 55 minutes Karl Lewis had another shot blocked and from the resulting corner their keeper made a good save tipping over a Paul Evans header.  Paul made good contact with the resulting corner only for the keeper to make another save.  On 62 minutes Wyn made an excellent save and minutes later held a close range drive to keep the scores level.  
The only goal of the game came on 67 minutes when we conceded a free kick just outside the box. Despite a four man wall full back Daniel Hopper curled the ball around the wall into the far corner of the net. Despite Corey Thomas and Ali Walkley we still couldn't find the equaliser, even after the penalty incident we pushed forward and with virtually the last kick of the game Carl Edwards fired wide from the edge of the box.
