AFAN LIDO 2-0 NEWCASTLE EMLYN

Goals from Remi
Whitelock and Ceri Cook saw us safely through to round 2 of
the Welsh Cup.
Matthew Beynon, Shaun Morgan and Damon Thomas were all out injured
but Josh
Cockings and Antonio Facciuto returned from injury.
This
was a comfortable
win with Newcastle Emlyn not posing a great threat. Steve
Hughes should get
a mention as he scored a hat trick (of disallowed goals!!) better
luck next
time Steve.
The Newcastle keeper made some excellent saves especially a couple
from Remi
Whitelock. The nearest Newcastle Emlyn came to scoring
was in the second
half when Josh Cockings headed a corner off the line.
