Afan Lido Colts 3-3 Afan Lido Rangers
A
very competitive game between the two Homes sides.
Fought hard as a local derby match, you would
never guess that they were all part of the same
team. At 1/2 time it was 2 - 0 to the colts, the
1st for Regan and the 2nd for Matthew.
Just
before 1/2 time Nathaniel Golding left the field
with a twisted ankle. The teams were then forced
to swap around to even the balance of the sides.

to the Colts.
The
momentum of the game changed with the swap with
Regan and Matthew controlling the game then for
the rangers 2 goal later from Regan Taylor and the
game was a 2-2 draw. Corey Evans then made a run
from his own goal mouth linked up with Regan and Matthew
and placed the ball in the back of the net to push
the rangers 3-2 in front. Another break then from
a move between Bobby Lewis and Ryan Smee saw Ryan
scoring the equaliser just before the end. A very
entertaining game to watch from a game that should
have been no more than a training session - 2 men
of the match Regan Taylor and Matthew James.
