The
visit of Baglan saw a Lido Rangers team show how much they have
learnt in the past few months.
The result of 8-1 was unreflective of the difference
between the two teams.
The
Lido boys showed maturity beyond their years.
Passing the ball with great vision and staying structured
from defence to attack.
Curtis
Davies and Joseff Camps provided the width with Mitchell Divetta
and Joseph Collins making the most of the time on the ball.
Elliot Lawrence and Joel Elloit worked hard in Midfield and
Owain Gullam, Jacob Tyler and Ben Staton showed good ability in
defence. Other strong
performances came from Carlos, Bradley, Ethan and Jackson.
This
although not the largest result the team will have seen the
performance was one to be proud of as was the humility with which
the team took the win.
The
recent restructure of the squad has definitely had a good impact
on the morale and intent on all players.
