should have been a routine win turned into a nightmare. With
their first team game called off Ystradgynlais admitted to
having four first team players and probably had more.
We included
Karl Lewis for his first game in over two months, Daniel
Williams for his second game in a month and John Felton for his
second game in 5 weeks. While our players touch and sharpness
won't there you couldn't say that about the opposition.
We hardly had a
kick in the first half and were three down at the interval.
Within two minutes of the restart we were four down and found
ourselves five down after 51 minutes. At the end of the game we
found out that goal 5 was actually punched in by the striker
with everyone including the ref oblivious to it.
On 83 minutes
we were awarded a penalty and true to our display John Felton
blasted it over the crossbar. However with four minutes to go he
did get on the score sheet.
On 89 minutes
we had a second penalty which Remi Whitelock scored but it was
too little too late.
