The reserves
kicked off at 12 noon to allow them to see this afternoon's
Welsh cup tie. Ali Walkley gave us the lead after 6 minutes when
the keeper anticipated a cross, left an empty goal allowing Ali
to score with ease. 5 minutes later Mitch Patton took a free
kick which was headed straight to Josh Cockings who scored from
12 yards. On 28 minutes Neil Hendra picked up a bad back pass,
sent the keeper the wrong way and shot into the empty net.
Justin Williams tried to get in on the act but his effort from
the edge of the area smacked against the crossbar.
Neil Hendra netted
his second on 50 minutes when Shaun Best went down the right and
Neil met his cross at the far post to slide the ball home. Two
minutes later Neil notched his hat trick when he scored from 20
yards. Mitch Patton almost made it 6 when he intercepted a goal
kick, lobbed the keeper but the ball went just wide.
