We took the lead
after three minutes when Neal Hendra scored with a right footed
shot. Matthew Beynon making his Reserve team debut made an
important tackle in the box after a Sisters forward broke
through several tackles and looked on target to score.
Neal Hendra
made it 2-0 after 31 minutes when he headed a left wing cross
into the empty net. Three minutes later Scott Bamsey hit the
post with a 25 yard shot and just afterwards was thwarted when
his header brought a good save from the keeper.
The second half
was spent mostly in midfield, there wasn't a lot of action at
either end. Mitch Patton netted our third on 83 minutes when he
met a Shaun Best cross to score a typical Mitch goal. Three
minutes from time Shaun Best hit a powerful 25 yarder against
the post but the rebound was cleared.
