Afan Lido 0–7 Cwmavon Welfare

 

Afan Lido felt very unlucky to draw Cwmavon in the first round of the Design Printers cup and were outplayed by a team who have not dropped a League point all season.  

Cwmavon scored four goals during the first half and three goals during the second half.  Lido were forced to defend for the majority of the game, finding themselves camped in their own half.

The highlight of the game for the Lido came ten minutes from the end when they won their first corner. The conditions were very wet and slippery and it rained heavily throughout the game but this didn’t upset Cwmavon’s game and they played some very good football.
