We gained the three points but until Steve Parry scored after 90 + 5 a draw was still on the cards. The first half was entertaining but it was a poor second half littered with free kicks. 
We took the lead after 5 minutes when a Steve Parry throw was headed out to Chris Piper 23 yards out, he hit it left foot and it went into the net just under the junction of the crossbar and upright.

A combined move between Ian Jones, Craig Jones and Liam McCreesh saw his shot saved by the keeper. The ball went down the other end and their 9, Lewis Sommers crossed low for Faris Yafai to score at the near post. Ian Jones had a shot from 25 yards which went way over the bar then after 16 minutes Liam scored from a long ball from Karl Lewis but he was flagged offside. On 17 minutes a long shot from the YM had Brian in trouble, he could only parry the shot and just managed to drop on it before the attacker got to it. 

After 26 minutes Liam from a good position shot wide then Ian Jones and John Felton had chances but their efforts lacked the power to beat the keeper. On 31 minutes we had a left wing corner, Shaun O'Leary played it in and Liam headed home from four yards. Craig Jones was replaced after 46 minutes, he had a good run across the edge of the box and as he shaped to shoot was tackled and injured. Greg Hurley replaced him. Up to midway through the second half virtually nothing happened, then Paul Evans tried his luck from 30 yards but the ball went wide. Neither side could take the game by the scruff in the second half but in the last five minutes at least we played around their area and had a series of free kicks and corners.

In added on time they had a free kick which Brian punched out to Steve Parry, Steve picked the ball up on the edge of our area and ran at the stretched YM defence. He got into their box drew the keeper and slotted home. They kicked off and the final whistle sounded.
