We overcame a determined Dinas Powys side on a heavy pitch with goals from Carl Evans and Ian Jones. 
On 7 minutes Karl Lewis played the ball forward to Steve Parry who played the ball in to John Felton who turned his defender but fired over the crossbar from the edge of the area.

On 18 minutes the home side took the lead, we lost the ball deep in our half and their 9 closed down on Brian who made a tremendous save but unfortunately the ball rebounded to the 10 who fired home from outside the box.

Straight from the kick off Greg Hurley crossed for Steve Parry but he fired over the bar. On 29 minutes a through ball from Karl Lewis found Ian Jones in space wide right but he was unable to make a clean contact on the ball and the chance went.

On 38 minutes more good work by Karl Lewis gained us a right wing corner, Steve Parry played the ball back in and the home side conceded another corner. This time the ball reached Carl Evans on the edge of the 6 yard box and he bundled the ball home to level the scores.

Just before half time Carl Evans tried his luck from 35 yards and ensured the home keeper was on his toes. 
We kicked off the second half and within seconds Ianto almost put us ahead but his close range effort went just over the bar. 

We stayed on the offensive and Paul Evans crossed over the keeper and the central defence did well not to get a touch which would almost certainly resulted in an own goal. On 59 minutes a Karl Lewis throw found Greg Hurley in space and his first time shot was well saved by the keeper. 

On 66 minutes John Felton was just wide with a left footed effort from wide. Substitute Craig Jones put the ball in the net but was adjudged offside. On 77 minutes Brian made an unbelievable save to deny Dinas Powys taking the lead, we cleared the ball and found Ian Jones who drilled home a right footer from the edge of the area. The home side pushed forward looking for an equaliser but despite a couple of scares we held out to secure the three points.
